Draft for legal review. Last updated 11 October 2026.
Lintel is provided to hotels by Antonis Petros Stassinopoulos. Each hotel that uses Lintel decides to use it for its staff and is the controller of its staff's data; we process it on the hotel's behalf.
What we store about you
- Your work email address, used only to send sign-in codes.
- Your name as shown to your hotel's admin, your role and your department.
- The shifts on your hotel's rota and whether each shift's break was recorded as taken.
What we store about your answers
A check-in is stored with your hotel, your department and the day it describes. It is not stored with your name, account, email address or the time you submitted it. While the day is open, a one-way code made with a secret key prevents a second check-in from you for the same day; it is deleted when the day closes, after which nothing links the answers to you. Difficult-interaction reports are stored with the department and a four-hour block of the day only. There are no free-text fields.
Who can see what
Managers and hotel admins see department figures built only from groups of at least five people and only for days that have finished. No one, including your hotel and us, can see an individual's answers through Lintel. Hotel admins can see the member list (names, emails, roles, departments).
How long we keep it
Individual anonymous answers are deleted after your hotel's retention period (180 days by default). Daily department totals are kept while the hotel uses Lintel. Sign-in codes are deleted within a day.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time in Account and settings. This deletes your account, your membership and your rota entries. Past anonymous answers remain in the department totals because they cannot be linked to you. For other requests, contact your hotel or alexstass@icloud.com.
On your phone
The iPhone app keeps your sign-in token in the iOS Keychain, your settings on the device, the dates (not the answers) of your recent check-ins, and, if you are offline, one pending check-in until it can be sent. Face ID and reminders are optional and work entirely on the device.
No tracking
Lintel has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.
